Ken Wa Kan Arts & Service Scholarship Program Application

For those that are artists, who work in the service industry (restaurants, bars, retail), first responders and non profit workers/ volunteers that would like to apply for scholarship to train at Karate=Do Ken Wa Kan. To participate in this program you must maintain the following criteria 

• Be available to train for 6 consecutive months 

• Consistently train twice a week (minimally) 

• Not miss karate training for more than 2 weeks (you may train on zoom if traveling)

• Make up any missed classes to maintain consistent karate training

• Within 6 months, generate and complete a project in service to the dojo that is a representation of who you are and your love of martial arts/ what you are getting out of your participation in the Ken Wa Kan Community

• Participate in a monthly meeting with Ken Wa Kan to discuss project progress
